My approach
My therapy method is rooted in a philosophy of radical awareness and consideration of your unique circumstances.
What is really keeping you stuck? Why does it feel impossible to break out of a cycle that keeps repeating itself? Together, we will look at these patterns while acknowledging that you don't exist in a vacuum—your internal world is deeply shaped by your external reality, including your culture, identity, and systemic environment.
We will navigate and test new approaches together, equipping you with practical tools to regain trust in yourself, navigate future challenges, and build lasting resilience.
A Holistic, Integrative Approach
Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we will look at the whole picture. My practice integrates elements of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to honour your whole identity.
Our work will focus on the deep connection between the body, the mind, and the emotions, exploring how these patterns affect your relationship with yourself and others. We will cultivate an awareness of where an emotion presents itself physically in the body, and what story the mind attaches to it. Through this self-discovery, you will regain insight into your behaviours, giving you a more intentional sense of direction in life.
Therapy for Creatives & Artists
Having previously worked in the music industry, I intimately understand the distinct working environments, intense pressures, and unique challenges that come with a life in the arts.
My background allows me to connect deeply with creative people working across music, film, photography, and the performing arts. You won't have to spend time translating your world to me - I understand the struggles, the creative blocks, and the weight of the industry.
How sessions work
Free Consultation: Book a free, no-obligation 30-minute video call. This is a casual, low-pressure space for us to meet, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and see how it feels to talk together.
Map out a plan: If we both feel like we're a good team, we will collaborate on a tailored plan. We'll map out what therapy will look like specifically for you, ensuring it aligns with your pace, your creative life, and your goals.
Begin your sessions: Once you feel confident in our plan, you can book your first official session. I offer appointments both online via video call or in-person to seamlessly fit into your schedule and lifestyle.
About me
For over 18 years, I lived and breathed the music industry, working as an artist manager and marketing executive. In those high-pressure environments, my day-to-day reality wasn't just about business. It was about navigating complex human dynamics, mediating conflicts, managing intense creative collaborations, and protecting the mental well-being of teams and individuals under immense stress.
Realising that my true calling was supporting the people behind the achievements, I uprooted my life in Berlin, returned to Scotland, and completed a Master’s in Psychological Research to retrain as a psychotherapist.
Today, my practice is rooted in a philosophy of radical awareness. Because human beings do not exist in a vacuum, I work across three core pillars:
Individual Therapy (For Creatives & All Walks of Life): Helping individuals break out of repeating, exhausting cycles, manage anxiety or burnout, and regain a deep trust in themselves.
Relationship & Team Therapy: Applying my deep understanding of group dynamics to help couples, family members, friends, and professional or creative teams resolve conflict, establish healthy boundaries, and build stronger communication.
Workshops & Speaking: Facilitating psychoeducational groups, workshops and panel discussions within the creative industries and corporate sectors to normalise common struggles, tackle burnout, and decrease isolation.
How I Practice
While I hold a strong academic background and consistently integrate current psychological research into my work, I don't believe in textbook, one-size-fits-all solutions. Whether I am sitting with an individual, a couple, a family, or a business team, you are the experts on your own lives. Together, we will discover the tailored approach that honours your mind, body, emotions, and unique circumstances.
I bring an active, warm, and deeply human energy to our sessions. While the work we do is deep and meaningful, there will also be space for laughs, and therapy doesn't always have to feel heavy.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Having lived in Germany, Sweden, and England before returning to Scotland, I know firsthand what it's like to navigate big life changes and rebuild a sense of home. This experience deeply enriches my work, helping me understand both our distinct cultural differences and the core emotional needs we all share.
Outside of my practice, what keeps me grounded is travelling, immersing myself in nature, and spending quality time with family and friends. My lifelong love for the arts is still a huge part of who I am - in my downtime, you can usually find me reading, catching a comedy show, watching a great film, or out at gigs. But I am ultimately happiest by a beach; wherever I am in the world, the ocean is where I go to reset.
